Santonrini island is more like paradise for cat lovers. Cats are unbelieveable friendly in Santonrini islands. They run into you and follow you all the way.

Perhaps because winter is the low season, only few few tourists there, cats feel very lonely. I was crazy for taking lots of cat photos. There are only few chance that you can take nice photos like these.

What I want from MBA and what I should get from MBA are two questions that I keep asking myself recently.To get more international working experience abroad is my WHY MBA. I did have some international working experience from perious jobs, but not enough. I will finish my MBA 1.5 months later. Now I am counting down my time in Europe, 31st Aug is the deadline (the expired date of my stay permit). If I can't get a job in Europe, then that's it!!!
From now on, I still have 120 days more in Europe. During these 4 months, I am going to apply a job, and at the same time find a city or town(perhaps is Perugia..cheap to stay and good italian lanuage lesson) to learn Italian for two months. Then travel around the East and North Europe for one month, I guess this would be in August. This would be the my last student summer vacation, so I just do the things I have to do here and enjoy the life.

Tell the truth, I don't mind working in Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai. So I am also applying jobs in these Asian cities. Keep my option open and see what I will get. Cross my fingers :)

Bicycle Life

Since my internship office, actually is not in Fabriano, it is in Albacina. Before I can work in both offices in Fabriano and Albacina. But in the end of my project, my tutor wish me stay in Albacina office to have more communication. And I have a very nice coworker giving me a ride everyday. Albacina is a much smaller town than Fabriano, I guess the population is less than 10,000. I don't want to bother my coworker to give me a ride everyday. And most important thing is I WANT THE CONTROL OF MY LIFE, not depends on other people's time. I don't like to always ask someone's favor. There are only two alternatives from Fabriano to Albacina.
First, take the bus. The first bus is at 6:45 and the second bus is 10:30. It is either too early or too late. I need to arrive office around 8:30 am. This is not a good choice. It takes 15 mins to bus station from my place.

The second solution is train. By train, I have to ride my bike from my place to train station, this takes 15 mins. Then take the train to the Albacina station, this only takes 10 mins. After that I take bike again from Albacina station to my office, this takes another 10 mins. Fortunately, me and my roommates have three bikes. And they don't use them. So I can just leave a bike in Albacina, this will save me a lot of trouble.

Today it is my first time to take bike+train+bike soultion to the office. I planed to take the 8:25 train. However, there is no train, instead it is a bus (then why should they put it on the train time table, I am really pissed off). So, I waited for anotehr train on 9:13 to Albacina. In the end, I arrived office at 9:30. Although this soultion sounds ridiculous, but it works. So from now on, I will use my bike everyday. Anyway, summer is coming, it is better to exercise more to lose some weight.

I never think about the bicycle will become so important in my life. When I ride my bike on the small country roads, I enjoy the green field view with a river and sound of birds. I have a very strange feeling. I am born to be a CITY woman. WHAT am I doing here? Anyway, if I can pick tomato in the dirty and muddy field in Australia. Then this is just a piece of cake. I CAN MAKE IT!!!

Next time, I will take the train on 8:17, then I will be in the office at 8:30. It sounds Perfect solution!!! And there is only three weeks left for my internship. :)

ASUS EEEPC

I am very pround that ASUS is such a great Taiwanese company launched this mini pc! The price is cheap, just 300 euros. I booked one online from PCHOME and ask my mon ship it to me from Taiwan. It unbelieveable light and small(ligter than a A4 book). And with my 3G internet card, it works very well and quick. Finally, I can have very reliable internet at home in this small town. I can take it anywhere with no concern. Btw, I am going to Amsterdam and berlin 2-6 May, I will take my eeepc with me. :)

再見

分就要分的乾乾淨淨
不能拖泥帶水,不能再連絡 (電影心動的台詞)
所以,我沒有想到要再見

在相隔500公里之外的城市,看到他我有些訝異
但他就站在展場的入口處,
沒辦法不經過他身邊,再見面 不打招呼也很怪
尷尬地說哈囉,同事正在等我,匆匆說再見離去
沒想到之後他會在會場裡面找到我
聊了一會,禮貌性地說再見
對於這不預期地相逢
不知道該高興還是難過
起碼再見面 可以談笑自如
但覺得有些悲傷,我再也沒辦法定義我們交集
一切顯得空泛無意義

即使分開,沒辦法這麼快把一個人從記憶中抹去
有些片段仍然每天會不經意地浮現在我的腦海裡
那些小細節點出了我們相處的錯誤,提醒著我的不成熟
更坦然接受 為什麼我們必須分開
可惜生活並不是像錄影機,可以倒帶從來,修正錯誤

對於相遇分開,我並不後悔
我清楚 要的是什麼
一時情緒反應可以混淆判斷
但是閉上眼思考,答案其實在清楚不過(有人願意為愛痴傻,我做不到)
難的是要如何把答案寫的漂亮,
男人真難懂阿~~

Busy

I have a presentation next Monday. I need to present my project to 6 R&D managers. This is my first formal presentation to company in English. This weekend, I will be in Milan for Eurocucina. Next weekend, I will travel with my classmates nearby Rimini. Next next weekend, I will fly to Amsterdam for traveling, then take bus to Berlin for the career fair. I will go back Fabriano in the early morning then go to work directly on 7 May. My internship finishs on 16th May. Then I have no idea what to do, maybe I will go to Perugia for 1-2 months italian language courses. I will graduate in June. Time flies, I dont want to say goodbye to my student life. But have to...

PS: Finally, I have my own internet at home by GPRS phone card. Slow by better than nothing.

找工啦 !!

因為不確定,現在實習的公司會不會給口飯吃(應該不會.因為我不會講義大利文~>_<~,除非他們想外派我去中國吧)!要開始幫自己找後路~實習還有一個月就結束,然後六月中就要畢業了,所以趁現在要開始找工作,如果八月底,我還沒有辦法在歐洲找到一份工,那我就心甘情願回台灣或亞洲工作!!我能做的也就是盡人事聽天命吧!不過出來唸書,貸款也是要還的,找到一份好工,十分重要!!

這個週末,我整理好的履歷表和Cover letter,和有助於找工作的reference
如果看到喜歡的工作,隨時就可以投,一天投10個工作...大海撈針,希望會撈到一份工
其實應該順便把個人網頁也做了,把履歷和一些資料也放上去

有種告別的感覺

總覺得在義大利再待下去的話,有點失去動力了,總覺得最近生活中做的一切,都是為了告別這裡!心裡隱約有種按奈不住的衝動,是想離開了吧!不是不喜歡義大利...但有種夠了的感覺。也許是義大利讓我始終沒有歸屬感,厭倦了這種感覺...所以想要restart新生活。

有衝動想要走去下一站,縱然不知道下一站在哪裡~很想能再有一次歐洲的長期自助旅行,沒有居留證也只好打消念頭。以前我很討厭這種不上不下的狀態,有點像是過度期...或者無能為力的感覺。在義大利學到的是 take it easy, 生活中總有不能改變的事情,只能去接受,去認同,多點耐心!!憤怒沒有用...但是這種過慢的生活會讓我失去前進的動力~所以想離開了...想走了...

為了下一站,要好好準備了!!

Internship Life:復活節早餐

Fabriano是個以廚具工業和造紙為重的小鎮。這附近盛產農產品和釀酒,有很深厚的飲食文化淵源,吃絕對是這裡生活中很重要的一部分。

上個週末,去了一趟Fabriano的遊客中心,詢問一下到附近小鎮觀光的交通資訊,服務人員很熱心地告知週日有免費的傳統復活節早餐品嘗會,還很熱心的打電話幫我預約,於是週日早上我跟另外兩個同學就跑去品嘗了很特別的復活節早餐。
最典型的義大利早餐應該就是到Bar點一杯卡布奇諾+一個可頌,站著快速把早餐吃完!意式早餐是很清淡的~

這復活節早餐比起典型的意式早餐可真是重口味!早餐一上來,盤子裡面的是醃火腿+醃臘腸+蛋餅+起司蛋糕,另外很配上這各區域特產白酒Vedicchio(一大早就喝酒真是太猛)!最後還上了一盤肝臟類的小菜,主辦單位很用心,所以從裝盤到上餐一點都不馬虎,還有派專人解釋復活節早餐的意義,可惜我義大利文很差聽不懂解釋,但是有很用心的好好品嘗這份特別的早餐!

吃早餐的時候,我旁邊坐了一家人,這家人的小孩超可愛,以前我都覺得怎麼西洋畫裡面的天使會這麼可愛,真的會有小朋友長這樣嗎?結果,這頓早餐我有天使陪伴在我身旁 :)

吃完這頓早餐,最令我感動的是主辦單位對於本土文化的支持和認同,這週末一連舉辦了兩天的跟當地吃的文化活動有關的活動,Fabriano只是人口不到4萬的小鎮,但是市政單位還是很用心的籌畫活動,包含很有質感的的文宣品和場地佈置。從這裡我看到了歐洲人對生活細節的堅持和傳承!

其實早餐過後,還有另外一場活動是廚師運用Fabriano當地的傳統食材,當場示範煮了千層面和義大利麵...每道菜都還配著酒,所以這週日變成了我享用了一場異常豐盛的Brunch! :)
