*Famous Three Sister in Blue Mountain

Blue Mountain is a must go highlight near Syney. It only takes two hours by train( single way:$11.6). It's better to stay 2 or 3 nights. Get prepared before you go to Blue mountain, especialy a pair of nice shoes for track walking and a swimming suit for waterfall shower.
I spent two days(2007/1/5-2007/1/6) in Blue Mountain alone. It's a very nice short time trip.It's so easy to go to Blue Mountain from Sydney CBD. I bought a train ticket from Cental station to Katoomba. I met a nice old lady in the train, she lives in Sydney but has a house in Katoomba. We had a nice conversation during the two hour. When we said goodbye, she gave me a warm huge and a kiss.

After I arrived Katoomba, I checked in Katoomba YHA first. Then I walked to see the famous three sisters first. If you want, you can walk to the Three Sister. It only takes 15 mins. The stair is steep. Be careful!

After Three Sister, I went to Scenic World to take the skyrail and skycable. I walked around two hours in the walk track. The air is so fresh in Blue Mountain. The Skyrail's exciting, however the time is too short. Maybe only 3 mins.

I took a free ride of Blue Mountain Eexplorer Bus by using a great coupon from YHA Katoomba Map. Then I got off the bus in Leura. Leura is a small towm next to Katoomba. You can find many small and cute gift or antique shops there.

I met Roy,a guy from Hong Kong,in YHA. He's a new-hand backpacker, he just arrived Oz for one week. We had dinner together, he recommended me to visit Wenworth Fall. He said the tracks in wentworth Fall are much better and walking under the cliff is exiciting.

I visited the Three sister again in the second day morning. I asked staff of visitor information center how to get to Wentworth Fall from Katomba. The friendly staff gave me some advice to get Wentworth Fall.

I decided to walk to Leura Cascades first. Then I still had time to visit Wentworth Fall in the afternoon. Lurea Cascades took me one and half hours from the Three Sister. The Waterfall is lovely, not big.

After Leura Cascades, I took bus to Wentworth Fall town.
